Any Recommendations for Cheap Public Golf Courses in Naples, FL?

I’m planning a trip to Naples, Florida, and I’d love to play some golf while I’m there. However, I’m on a bit of a budget and I’m looking for affordable public golf courses in the area.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Affordable pricing: Ideally, I’d like to find courses that won’t break the bank.
  • Quality of the course: I’m hoping to find places that are well-maintained, even if they are cheaper.
  • Amenities: It would be great if they have basic facilities like club rentals and practice areas.

How to Find the Best Deals?

I’ve done some initial searching online, but I’d really appreciate any personal recommendations or experiences you all might have. Are there any hidden gems you’ve discovered?

Specific Questions:

  • Are there any courses that offer discounts for early morning or twilight tee times?
  • Do any places have special rates for locals or repeat visitors?
  • What’s the typical price range I should expect?

Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to some great rounds in Naples! :raised_hands:

I’ve played at Palm杉 Golf Club as well, and it’s a good option. The fees are reasonable, and I found the staff really friendly!

I checked out the rules at Eagle Lakes, and they have fantastic rates for residents! But make sure to book ahead during peak times.

The 18 holes at LaPlaya Golf Club are gorgeous; however, weekday rates can still be steep compared to others. I recommend calling them for specials.

I tried LaPlaya a month ago, and while the views are stunning, I agree their prices are on the higher side. They should offer more deals for locals!

If you’re looking for cheap but maintain a fun vibe, try Golf Club of Naples. I loved their approach; it’s super laid-back.

Can anyone compare Golf Club of Naples to Tiburon? I enjoy the latter’s layout, but the price can be suffocating for regular play.

Great question! Tiburon is stunning, but definitely not a budget pick. I think Golf Club of Naples has unique charm.

I’ve played all over Naples and must say, if you just want to have fun without breaking the bank, check out Flying Eagle Golf Club. Lots of friendly golfers, and the vibe is always jovial.

I love that place! The last time I played, I laughed so hard at a hole-in-one competition, it’s worth it just for the fun!

Another great option is the Lely Resort. They have a loyalty program that can save you quite a bit if you play regularly!

I’ve also heard that you can find generous membership deals at several public courses. It’s worth checking out their websites for any seasonal promotions.

Yeah, I recently joined a loyalty program at the Eagle Lakes Golf Club, and it’s already saving me money on multiple rounds. Highly recommend it!

That’s awesome! Are there any specific requirements for signing up?

Lely Resort also offers a ‘Play More, Save More’ membership. You might want to look into that if you play frequently.
