  • Public Courses: Many public courses in London offer great facilities without the hefty membership fees. Courses like Hampstead Golf Club and Richmond Park Golf Course are well-known for their beautiful landscapes and affordable green fees.

If you’re looking for a top-notch experience, I highly recommend Sunningdale Golf Club. It’s beautifully maintained and has a great sense of tradition. The atmosphere is simply unmatched!

Sunningdale is a classic! If you want something a bit more modern, check out The Grove. It’s like golfing in a luxurious resort!

Wentworth is a legend! I’m a personal fan of the London Golf Club as well. The greens are incredibly fast and the layout is very strategic.

I’ve played at Wentworth and it was a fantastic experience! The West Course is particularly challenging and the scenery is breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit!

Don’t forget about Royal Liverpool! It’s a bit outside London, but the history and challenge are unparalleled. Plus, it’s hosted The Open multiple times!

I actually haven’t! I’ll have to check it out. How does it compare to say, Richmond Park Golf Course? I’ve heard good things about it too.

Richmond Park is stunning! It’s unique because you play among the deer. Such a fun experience! It’s definitely one of my favorites in London.

I love that aspect! But have you tried playing at Parkstone Golf Club? The views of the coastline are amazing! A bit of a trek, but so worth it!

I personally found the crowds at Parkstone a bit overwhelming. Sometimes it feels more like a busy tourist spot than a golf course. What do you all think?

Haha, so true! Last time I went, I spent more time waiting than playing. But it is beautiful there! Overall, I think there are hidden gems like The Addington that deserve more love.

Absolutely agree! The Addington has such charm and excellent greens. Thanks for bringing it up!

Hey everyone! I’m looking for golf courses in London that are accessible to the public. Any recommendations?

Richmond is great! But for something more exclusive, I recommend The Grove. It’s a private club but has excellent coaching services.

The Grove looks amazing, but is it hard to get a tee time there? I’m flexible, just want to make sure I can play.

Tee times can be tricky at The Grove, but they do offer some packages for non-members. Little benefit of having a member help you out, though!

That’s good to know! Are there rentals available for clubs at these places? I don’t want to lug mine around.

Most golf courses in London offer rental clubs. For example, at Richmond, they have standard and premium options. Just call ahead to check availability!
