Looking for the Best Golf Resorts in Mexico - Recommendations Needed!

Club rentals were about $40 per round, but honestly, it’s better to bring your own if you can. Just a tip to save a bit more!

There’s also the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix that might have deals extending down to Mexico! You should check their site for any current offers.

I thought this thread was only for Mexican resorts. Are we seriously considering non-Mexican destinations now?

A little flexibility never hurt anyone! Plus, sometimes resorts nearby have cross-promotion deals worth exploring.

Haha, true! But in all seriousness, I’m thinking of planning this trip soon, so I appreciate all these tips!

Just keep an eye on packages as you finalize plans. Prices can vary a lot depending on the season, and the inclusion of meals really makes a difference!

Great advice, everyone! I’m pumped just thinking about planning this trip! My golf game needs a little sunshine and maybe a margarita or two!

I recently visited a few golf resorts in Mexico, and I have to say, the Riviera Maya is stunning! Try the Fairmont Mayakoba for incredible courses and beautiful beaches.

Yes! I’ve heard great things about the Fairmont Mayakoba. Has anyone tried the Grand Velas? I’ve been curious about their golf package.

The Grand Velas is fantastic! Amazing dining options and the spa is heavenly! If you enjoy a bit of luxury after golfing, it’s worth considering.

Besides the golf, what time of year are you planning to go? November through April is the best weather, but it can be crowded, especially around holidays.

That’s true! I went in late fall last year, and it was perfect. Plus, fewer kids around!

If you’re considering activities outside of golf, check out cenote tours. Swimming in the cenotes is an unforgettable experience and a great way to unwind after a day on the course!

Cenotes sound great! But do you think it’s safe? I’ve heard mixed reviews about travel safety in some areas.

Absolutely! Just stick to the tourist areas and use common sense. Overall, it’s quite safe, with plenty of people enjoying everything from zip-lining to scuba diving.

I think it really depends on the resort. Some are more family-oriented, while others cater to adults. Make sure to consider who you’re traveling with!

Good point! I’m going with my buddies, so adults-only resorts seem like a better choice to keep the vibe more relaxed.

If you want some humor, there’s always that one friend who insists on taking selfies instead of golfing! Anyway, anyone know which resort has the best deals right now?
