Looking for Your Thoughts on the Srixon ZX4 Mk II Irons

Seeking Feedback on Srixon ZX4 Mk II Irons

Hey everyone, I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about the Srixon ZX4 Mk II irons lately, and I’m really interested in getting detailed feedback from this community. I’m particularly curious about:

  • Performance: How do they perform on the course? Any specific stories or experiences?
  • Forgiveness: As someone who plays at a mid-high handicap level, how forgiving are these clubs compared to others?
  • Accuracy and Feel: How do they feel in your hands? Do they give you the feedback you want?

I’m considering a purchase soon, and I want to make sure I’m making an informed choice. Also, if anyone has compared them to other similar irons, I’d love to hear your insights!

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts!

I’ve been using the Srixon ZX4 Mk II irons for about a month now, and I have to say, the distance is impressive. I’m hitting my mid-irons about 5-10 yards longer than my old set. Overall, they feel great during impact!

That’s awesome to hear, joel40! I’ve noticed a big improvement in accuracy too. My last round, I hit 12 greens in regulation, something I couldn’t do with my previous clubs.

I played with the ZX4 Mk II last weekend, and the feel is simply outstanding. The ball just pops off the face. It’s a great blend of distance and control. Highly recommend!

I agree! The feedback during ball impact is very rewarding, almost like a little shockwave. Makes the game much more enjoyable.

What’s the longest shot you’ve hit, if you don’t mind sharing? I’m curious how they perform on longer par 4s. I’m thinking about getting a set.

On a 180-yard par 3, I managed to hit it to within 5 feet with the 7-iron! I think the consistency is key here. Definitely a notable improvement from before.

Just to add, my 6-iron carries around 190 yards now. I feel more confident attacking pins with these clubs.

The ZX4 Mk II really improved my game. I used to struggle with consistency, but now it’s like every shot is a new benchmark. Feels like I’m playing with a different level of equipment.

Totally agree! I think the design is really forgiving too, which helps a lot for weekend golfers.

I’ve been playing for years, and I have to admit, I was skeptical about going with Srixon. But I’m pleasantly surprised by the performance! Has anyone experienced any downsides?

I’ve heard a few say they struggle with the short irons, but personally, I’ve found them to be quite reliable. If you focus on your technique, they deliver!

Exactly! A proper swing goes a long way, and these clubs can only enhance that. I wouldn’t let mixed reviews deter you.

Every time I hit these irons, it feels like a mini celebration! Anyone else feel that way or is it just me?

Haha! I totally get you! The satisfaction after a good shot cannot be underestimated. It feels like finding money in an old jacket!

Did any of you experience an adjustment period moving to these irons? I felt a bit off at first, but now I’m hitting better shots than ever.

I’ve recently tried the Srixon ZX4 Mk II Irons, and I have to say, the club head shape is phenomenal. It really helps with alignment during swings.

Absolutely! The weight distribution in the club head really enhances the overall feel. Have you noticed any specific improvements in your accuracy?

The material construction is another highlight. The soft carbon steel feels great at impact, definitely a step up from previous models.

I agree! Plus, the sleek design makes it look really premium in the bag. It’s almost too nice to hit on the range!
