Tensei Orange Shaft: Anyone Tried It? Would Love Your Feedback!

I’ve been hearing a lot about the Mitsubishi Tensei Orange shaft lately and I’m really curious if it actually lives up to the hype. For those who have used it, what have your experiences been like?

Key Questions:

  • Performance: How does it perform compared to other shafts you’ve tried, especially within the Tensei line?
  • Feel: What’s the feel like during a swing? Is it more stable or does it give you a softer touch?
  • Distance & Accuracy: Have you noticed any improvements in your distance or accuracy since switching to the Tensei Orange?

I’m particularly interested in how its counterbalancing feature affects play. Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated!

Please share:

  • Your personal experiences
  • Any relevant tweaks you made to your setup after using the Tensei Orange
  • Comparisons with other brands/models if you’ve tried them.

Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts!

I’ve been using the Tensei Orange shaft for a few months now, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The mid kick point helps create a nice load during the swing, and I’ve noticed improved consistency in my ball flight.

That’s great to hear! What flex option are you using? I’ve read that the stiff flex can really enhance distance for stronger players.

I have the regular flex, and it feels fantastic! I think the feel during the swing is crucial. It gives a nice feedback without being too harsh, making it easier to maintain tempo.

I’ve been contemplating the Tensei Orange shaft. How does it handle with shanks? I’ve had issues with that lately, and I’m curious if it might help mitigate some of those mishits.

Exactly! The Tensei Orange has a unique way of blending control with comfort, which helps me manage my swing better.

The Tensei Orange really seems to support solid contact! I’ve personally not experienced shanks, but I’d recommend getting fitted to find the best flex for your swing style. It could make a difference.

I’m curious about how the Tensei compares to other shafts. Is the kick point noticeably different from options like the Fujikura or Project X?

I’ve tried both, and the Tensei Orange has a smoother transition at the top of the swing that I really like. Much more consistent for me.

Sounds promising! I may need to get my hands on one. I like a shaft that can handle a bit of power without feeling like a noodle. Does the Tensei Orange hold up well?

Definitely! I’ve found that it can handle my aggressive swing speed without sacrificing control. You won’t feel like you’re fighting the shaft at all.

I hope this isn’t too off-topic, but does anyone else feel like they swing better on days when they wear their lucky socks? Just a random thought while discussing shafts!

Haha, lucky socks might be a game-changer! But seriously, it’s amazing how confidence in your gear helps with performance.

I’ve been using the Tensei Orange shaft for about six months now, and I must say, the stability and feel are impressive. It really helped me improve my accuracy compared to my previous shaft.

That’s great to hear! Did you switch from something specific? How’s the distance compared?

I switched from a Project X shaft to the Tensei Orange. The difference in feel was immediate! A bit softer, but the control is on another level. Highly recommend it!

Interesting! I was considering Project X. Do you think the Tensei Orange is better for a smoother swing?

The Tensei Orange has a modest price point, making it appealing. I’d say it definitely competes with some higher-end shafts. You get a lot for what you pay!

I recently tested the Tensei Orange against the Mitsubishi Tensei AV. Both are solid, but the Orange feels a bit heavier which can affect swing speed for some players.

Absolutely! I love that it doesn’t break the bank. Plus, the feel during impact is sweet!
