I’m curious, what’s everyone’s experience with hitting off of mats vs. grass? I feel like I strike down better on grass despite sometimes struggling with mats.

I’ve noticed that too! Mats can sometimes fool you into poor contact. Physiologically speaking, the response is different, and grass gives a better natural feel.

Every time I hear about drills, I can’t help but remember my mishaps trying them. I recently ‘practiced’ the 'knee knock’ drill and ended up in a weird position! Laughter aside, it’s hard but so rewarding when you finally get it right.
