Has anyone played at the Old Works Golf Course in Anaconda? I hear it’s worth it, but I wonder about the weather in September.
The Old Works is incredible! September is usually great there, cooler but still playable. You might want to check for any upcoming events, though!

I’d recommend early April around Easter for special events—many courses have fun tournaments. Just check the weather since it can be unpredictable that time of year.
While I enjoy most seasons, winter golf has its charm too! Just be sure to pick courses that allow winter play, like in Missoula.

In fact, some courses have snowman tournaments where you play with winter gear. It’s goofy but a blast! I’d suggest checking them out.

Montana has some amazing public golf courses! I’ve played at the Missoula Country Club, and their green fees are quite reasonable, especially for locals. Plus, they offer discounts on weekdays. Highly recommend checking it out!

I play at Lake Hills Golf Course regularly. They have fantastic rates, and if you’re a resident, there’s a great discount. Definitely worth looking into!
