Haha, I can relate! The water hazards there really up the challenge. Great course overall.
I find the Oak Quarry course really unique! The elevation changes are impressive, especially at the 4th hole. Just pure fun to play!
I completely agree! Oak Quarry provides such a different experience compared to typical flat courses.
What do you all think about Riviera Country Club? It’s beautiful but the roughs can be punishing. The 10th hole is one to watch out for!
True! But that just makes it more exciting. The history of Riviera also adds to its charm.
Has anyone tried Pebble Beach’s caddy service? I used one and it made a big difference. The insider tips help navigate those iconic holes.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about the caddy experience. Some say it adds value, others claim they can manage without. What’s everyone’s take?
If you’re looking for amazing golf courses in Southern California, I highly recommend Torrey Pines. The views are incredible and the course conditions are top-notch!
I agree! Torrey Pines is gorgeous, especially when the wildflowers are blooming. Such a lively place to play!
I’ve played at Pebble Beach, but in SoCal, I think Rancho Park is underrated. It’s challenging yet fun, and the greens are always in great shape.
I’ve heard great things about Rancho Park! How’s the pace of play? I don’t like waiting too long.
The pace is decent, but it can get busy on weekends. Just make sure to tee off early if you want to avoid the crowd!
What are your thoughts on Los Angeles Country Club? I’ve seen mixed reviews about the service and overall experience.
I’ve played LA Country Club a couple of times. The course is beautiful, but sometimes the service can be hit or miss.
That’s a bummer! I would expect better service for the price. Any other courses you’d recommend?
Definitely check out Pelican Hill. It’s a bit pricey, but the service and views are worth it! Very picturesque.
I’ve heard Pelican Hill is amazing! But can we get a little humor in here? Does anyone else think golf is just an excuse for a good walk spoiled?
Haha, I love that! But hey, it’s all about the experience, right? What about the food at these courses? Any favorites?
You can’t go wrong with the burgers at Torrey Pines! They’re almost as good as the views. You need to fuel up between rounds!
I’ve had a mixed experience at some of these courses. While the views are stunning, I believe a friendly service can make or break your day on the greens.
