What’s in Lee Hodges' Bag? Thoughts on His Putter!

User preference plays such a big role here. Some love the feel of a milled face; others prefer a softer insert. What’s your take?

Exactly! For me, feedback from the putter is crucial. I found Hodges’ putter a little muted in that aspect.

Does anybody think the aesthetics of drivers might influence putter choice? I mean, I bought my putter just because it looked good.

Haha, I’m with you! But ultimately, performance is key. A pretty putter won’t save a bad stroke!

I’m really intrigued by the balance of his putter. How does it compare to classic models like the Ping Ping Anser?

Good point! The Ping Anser is iconic, but I’d say Hodges’ offers more modern technology. It’s a mix of tradition and innovation.

Is anyone else confused by all these high-tech putters? Sometimes I just want a simple stick to roll the ball!

Haha, true! But I think if you find what works for you, the tech can actually help improve your game.

I’m a big fan of Hodges’ consistency on the greens. It reminds me of the days when putters weren’t all about flashy tech!

I’ve had the Lee Hodges putter for over a year now, and I can vouch for its durability. I’m playing once a week, and there’s minimal wear on the face. It still rolls great!

That sounds promising! Do you have any maintenance tips to keep it in that condition?

I’ve noticed that the putter can get a little slippery in rainy conditions. I’ve started using a microfiber cloth to dry it off regularly. Has anyone else experienced this?

That’s an important point! I’ve played in hot weather and it feels great, but I can see how moisture would be an issue.

Durability-wise, I think it holds up quite well. I’ve been using mine for the last six months in all sorts of conditions and there are no noticeable scratches. Definitely impressed!

What about chips or dents? I worry about how it might hold up if accidentally dropped. Anyone have experiences with that?

I dropped mine once, and thankfully it survived with just a small scuff. I think the material is pretty robust overall.

Honestly, I love my Lee Hodges putter, but I try to keep it covered when not in use, especially in humid weather. Just feels like the smart thing to do!

That’s a great tip! A headcover really does help protect it from the elements.

I’ve got to say, I was skeptical at first. But it really holds up against the elements. I used it during a downpour, and it didn’t affect its performance at all!

Is there any difference in how it performs if it gets cold out? I’ve been wondering about that. Cold weather can change the feel of the club.
