What's the Cost of Membership at Shorehaven Golf Club?

@chopkins, I did check a few clubs, and while some have lower fees, they don’t offer the same facilities. It’s about what suits your needs best!

I’m doing some research on Shorehaven Golf Club’s membership costs. From what I’ve found, they are quite competitive compared to other local clubs. Membership runs about $2,500 annually, which includes access to all amenities and events. Anyone know how this stacks up against clubs like Greendale or Oakview?

I’ve heard Greendale is around $3,000 per year, but they have half the amenities that Shorehaven offers. It seems like Shorehaven might be a better deal overall!

I agree with lburton! Shorehaven’s facilities are definitely better than some of the higher-priced clubs nearby. Plus, the atmosphere is great! I think you’re getting good value for the price.

Sure, but let’s not forget the hidden costs. Are there extra fees for events or maintaining your golf cart at Shorehaven? Sometimes those can add up and make it less appealing.

That’s a valid point, john82. I did see that Shorehaven charges additional fees for special events, but I’ve heard they’re pretty minimal compared to other clubs. Did anyone check how much Oakview charges?

Oakview charges about $3,200 a year, which surprised me. I thought they would at least match Shorehaven in terms of amenities. Seems like Shorehaven is the clear winner in value!

Totally agree, but I still want to know what the social scene is like. A golf club should also be about the camaraderie, right?

You’re spot on, amy70! The community at Shorehaven is super friendly, which really enhances the membership experience. It’s not just about the golf but the connections you build too.

Honestly, I have my doubts. Do we really need another golf club? Maybe we should just stick to affordable public courses instead. I mean, who wouldn’t prefer spending less and playing at places like Cottonwood?

That’s a fair thought, but public courses can’t match the experience of a club like Shorehaven. Personally, I’m all for a little luxury now and then!
