I heard about restrictions on using them for tournaments too. Anyone else have a similar experience?
That’s frustrating! A gift card should be more flexible, right? But yeah, double-check if you’re planning a tournament!
I recently used my Go Play Golf gift card at Riverside Golf Course. The scenery was spectacular, and the greens were well-kept. I highly recommend going on weekday mornings to avoid the crowds.
Thanks for the tip! I’ve been looking for a good course. How did you book your tee time?
I’ve used my card at Willow Creek and loved it! The staff were very friendly, and the vibe was relaxed. I suggest aiming for sunset tee times — the views were incredible!
That sounds great! Do you think it’s beginner-friendly?
Definitely! Willow Creek has a few easier holes that are perfect for beginners. Just make sure to practice your short game! Anyone else have thoughts on best times to use the card?
I’ve found that afternoons on weekdays are best! Fewer players and usually discounted meals in the clubhouse. Plus, you can often sneak in a few extra holes. Just my two cents!
Good point! Do you usually book in advance or just walk in?
I always recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends! One time, I didn’t, and we waited over an hour to even start. It was frustrating!
Wow, that’s rough! What about course conditions when you used your card? Was it worth it?
The course conditions were stellar at Maplewood when I visited! The overall experience was worth every penny of the gift card. Just be prepared for some tricky water hazards!
