If you’re looking for a more playful atmosphere, try Asheville Municipal Golf Course. It’s more laid back and still has some nice views!
I agree, it’s perfect for a casual day out. Just be ready to bring your A-game on certain holes!
Also, remember to pack a camera! The vistas might distract you from your game, but they are absolutely worth it!
And don’t forget, I’m just here for the post-game snacks! If the golf is great, that’s a bonus.
Haha, right? The perfect day is golf followed by a good meal! Gotta love the mountains for that fresh air and good food.
Reflecting on all these choices, it’s tough to decide! Anyone have a favorite course they have been to multiple times?
If you’re looking for a great golf experience, I highly recommend the Cliffs at Walnut Cove. They have an amazing driving range and a fantastic restaurant with views of the course!
I’ve heard the staff there are really friendly too! Is the pro shop well-stocked with gear?
The Omni Grove Park Inn is another must-see. The views are spectacular, and their spa is the perfect way to relax after a round!
While the course at the Omni is nice, the service at their restaurant can be a bit hit or miss. Has anyone else experienced this?
I think the Crowne Plaza Resort offers excellent amenities! The pro shop has some great sales, and their driving range is top-notch! Perfect for practicing your swing.
Sales are great, but what about the food? Do any of these places have really good dining options?
I love the golf course at Lake Junaluska! Not only is the course fun, but the Lakeside Grill has some amazing burgers. Great for a post-game meal!
Sounds delicious! Are the views there as good as the course itself?
Absolutely! The views are stunning, especially at sunset. Plus, they have a decent pro shop where you can grab some gear. Just watch out for the squirrels; they are relentless!
Haha, that sounds like a fun challenge! But seriously, which courses have the best amenities?
I think everybody agrees that TPC Sawgrass is overrated when it comes to amenities compared to those local gems like the Cliffs or Grove Park!
Totally agree! It’s all about the local charm here in Asheville. Those smaller courses often have more character.
