Anyone Tried the Elevate 95 Shaft? Need Some Insights!

I’ve been doing some research on the Elevate 95 shaft from True Temper and I’m kind of at a crossroads here. From what I gather, it’s designed to offer a good balance of launch and spin, which sounds appealing. But I’d love to hear from the community about their actual experiences. Here are some specific areas I’m curious about:

Performance Comparisons

  1. How does the Elevate 95 compare to other shafts like the KBS Max 80 or Modus 3 Tour 105?
  2. Are the launch characteristics truly noticeable when switching from a different shaft?

User Experiences

  • Has anyone felt a big difference in their iron play after making the switch?
  • What kind of swings do the users here typically have? Did the shaft suit your playing style?

Specifications

  • I noticed the weight is around 95 grams, which seems to fit my needs, but how does that affect swing speed and control?
  • Any feedback on the torque rating? I’ve seen various numbers out there, and I’m trying to figure out what it means for my game.

Suitability

  • I’m currently using a different shaft but find it a bit too heavy. Would you suggest trying the Elevate 95 if I’m seeking a lighter option?

Overall Value

  • Is it worth the price tag, or are there better options in the same range?

I appreciate any insights or advice you all can provide. Thanks in advance for helping me make a more informed decision!

I’ve been using the Elevate 95 shaft for a couple of months now, and I must say it’s quite impressive! The added stability has really helped my accuracy, especially on longer shots.

Absolutely! I’ve gained a solid 10 yards on my drives. The Elevate 95 really seems to maximize energy transfer, which is fantastic for my game.

That sounds great! I’m particularly interested in how it affects distance. Have you noticed any improvements there?

Wow, that’s impressive! Is the feel of the shaft playful or more rigid?

The feel is really nice—not too stiff, but definitely more controlled than some of the lighter shafts I’ve tried. It seems to cater well to both beginners and advanced players alike.

That’s good to hear! I’m only a mid-game player. Think it would suit me too?

For sure! Many of my friends who are mid-level golfers are also seeing great results. It’s designed to improve consistency, which is a big plus for us!

That sounds ideal. I’ve struggled with consistency, so I’ll definitely consider the Elevate 95. Thank you all for sharing your experiences! Any drawbacks?

One downside might be that it’s slightly pricier than other options. But if it helps my game, I’d say it’s worth it!

You pay for what you get! But honestly, I’ve felt like it has improved my gameplay enough to justify the cost.

Fair point! Also, how about control in windy conditions? Any experiences?

I’ve played in some breezy conditions, and surprisingly, it held up nicely. The stability provides good feedback, even when the wind kicks in.

I have to agree with Amanda! It handles wind better than I expected. It’s almost like a secret weapon during those conditions!

Haha, that’s a funny way to put it! Just don’t expect it to turn you into a pro overnight! But it helps a ton.

True! Improvement is key, but I still have my moments. Overall, I’d say, try the Elevate 95 and see how it feels for you personally. I’m glad I took the leap!

I’ve been using the Elevate 95 shaft with my Mizuno JPX 921 irons, and it really enhances the feel and control. Highly recommend this combo!

That sounds great! What about hybrids? Do you think the Elevate 95 works with any models?

For hybrids, I suggest trying it with the TaylorMade Sim series. The combination gives an excellent flight and stability.
