Have You Tried the PXG Gen 6 Hybrid? Looking for Reviews!

I’ve been considering adding the PXG Gen 6 hybrid to my bag, but I’d love to get some firsthand feedback from anyone who’s already tried it. I’m particularly interested in how it performs in terms of forgiveness and distance. From what I’ve read, it seems like adjustability is a key feature, but I’d really like to hear about real-world experiences.

Performance

  • How does it feel off the tee versus from the fairway?
  • What about its performance from tricky lies?

Forgiveness

  • If you’ve missed the sweet spot, how forgiving is it?
  • Does it still get good distance and accuracy?

Adjustability

  • Have you played around with the settings?
  • Did adjusting weights or loft help your game?

I’m really hoping to make an informed decision before I pull the trigger, so any insights, pros and cons, or comparisons to other hybrids would be super helpful. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

I recently tried the PXG Gen 6 hybrid, and I was impressed with its distance! I was able to hit it nearly as far as my 3-wood. Fantastic feel too!

That’s awesome! What about the launch angle? High or low?

I found it to be quite accurate! The ball flight was really stable, and I had fewer slices compared to my old hybrids.

I’d say it’s a medium launch angle, which helps it stop quickly on the greens. I love how it handles varied lies too.

PXG Gen 6 hybrids have been excellent for me! I’ve even used it from the rough, and it performs well in tough conditions.

Wow, that’s impressive! Have you had any mishits? How does it feel on those?

Honestly, mishits are manageable! You won’t lose a lot of distance, which is a relief. It feels forgiving.

Nice! I’m still debating if I should switch from my old hybrid. Anyone else compared directly?

I did a comparison, and I can confidently say the Gen 6 outperforms many older models. Great upgrade in control and feel.

Yeah, but the price is a real sticking point! Is it really worth it? I mean, my current hybrid works perfectly fine.

That’s a good point. But think of it this way: sometimes a better tool can elevate your game. Have you tested it at least?

I’m very impressed with the PXG Gen 6 Hybrid! It has a great feel and the distance is fantastic. I’ve been comparing it with the TaylorMade SIM2, and the PXG feels more forgiving.

The price is definitely higher, but it’s worth it for the quality. I noticed that the Gen 6 offers adjustability, which is something my old hybrid lacks. How’s the performance in tricky lies?

[quote=“karen31, post:3, topic:2962”]How’s the performance in tricky lies?[quote]Honestly, it’s been solid for me! I feel like I can get under the ball easier than with my last hybrid.

I tried the Gen 6 last week, and the sound is just chef’s kiss! It’s got a nice pop to it that makes hitting it that much more enjoyable. Anyone else feel that way?

I think it does! I’ve seen others comparing it to the Titleist TSi2, and I prefer the feel of the PXG. It’s like they put a little extra magic in it! Are you looking to switch?
