Looking for Great Golf Courses with Carts - Any Recommendations?

I’m on the hunt for some awesome golf courses that offer carts for rent or use. I’ve been playing a bit lately, and while I enjoy walking the course, having a golf cart can really enhance the experience, especially on those long, hot days.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

Key Considerations:

  • Location: I’m primarily looking at courses in [your preferred area]. If you have suggestions outside of this area, please mention those as well!
  • Cart Availability: Do the courses you recommend always have carts available? Are they easy to book in advance?
  • Costs: I’d appreciate any insight into the costs associated with cart rentals at these courses. Are there any hidden fees or limitations I should know about?
  • Course Difficulty: I’d love to know how the courses stack up in terms of challenge and layout. Any opinions on whether some courses are more cart-friendly than others?
  • Rental Policies: Are there any specific manufacturers or brands of carts you noticed that were particularly good or bad? How about their policies for renting?

Additional Thoughts:

Have you had any experiences where the course’s cart service made a huge difference? Or perhaps where it fell short? I’m really interested in hearing your stories and suggestions!

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

If you’re looking for great golf courses with carts, I highly recommend Pebble Beach. The views are stunning and the course is top-notch!

I’m really interested in the Lakewood Golf Course. How was your experience there? Any specific holes or features to look out for?

I second that! Pebble Beach is beautiful, but if you’re on a budget, you might check out Lakewood Golf Course. It’s affordable and still a blast!

Lakewood is great! The carts are nice and there’s a fantastic 19th hole bar to unwind after your round!

I’ve been to Lakewood too! It’s a solid course, but nothing compares to the scenery at Pebble Beach. That’s the dream for many!

How about some options in Florida? I’ve heard great things about the TPC Sawgrass. Great carts and challenging holes!

TPC Sawgrass is on my bucket list! I’ve played at Bay Hill and loved it. Carts are a must during the heat!

I definitely agree, Bay Hill is a fantastic course. What do you think about the pricing for tee times?

Pricing can be steep at some of these courses. It really depends on the season and availability. I found evening tee times to be cheaper at several places!

Good tip! Let’s be real, golf is a pricey hobby. You think we should just go happy hour golfing instead?

Haha, happy hour golfing sounds like my kind of sport! But we might need to practice more if we stick to that schedule!

I’m looking for great golf courses with carts too! I’ve found that courses in the area tend to charge around $20-$30 for a cart. Any ideas on how to find the best deals?

Try checking websites like GolfNow or local golf course websites. They often have deals listed, especially during the off-peak seasons.

I’ve had luck negotiating cart fees when booking as a group. A lot of places offer a discount for larger parties! Anyone else have tips?

It’s true! Being part of a club can also yield good rates for cart rentals at certain courses. Has anyone considered joining a local golf club?

I haven’t, but it sounds like a good idea! Do clubs usually offer benefits apart from just cart discounts?

I’ve heard some clubs include free or discounted cart rentals, as well as the ability to book tee times easier. That can save a lot in the long run!

That’s great to know! I’ll have to check locally. By the way, what are some good public courses that offer low cart fees?

You might want to look into Sunset Valley. Their carts are around $15 during weekdays. I’m surprised they’re not more popular!
