Looking for the Best Golf Courses in Syracuse, NY!

Great question! Woodland does have decent rental options, but I found that The Links at Erie Village has a wider variety and is well-maintained!

The Links is awesome, especially for practice facilities! They have a great driving range and putting greens that can really help you improve your game.

That’s great to hear! Do any of the courses offer dining options after a round? I love to grab a bite with friends.

Yes! I recommend the golf club at Onondaga Lake. Their restaurant has a lovely view and amazing burger options. Perfect spot to relax post-game!

I like that place too! Are the practice facilities there any good?

Absolutely! Onondaga Lake has a solid chipping area and a putting green. They also host clinics, which is great for beginners.

Don’t forget Bayberry Country Club! I’ve been there a few times and their food selection is top-notch. The clubhouse atmosphere is also really welcoming!

I haven’t tried Bayberry yet! Any thoughts on their rental clubs?

Bayberry’s rental clubs are pretty good, although I prefer using my own. Just a personal preference, but the service there is quite helpful too!

I’m curious, do any of these places have golf simulators? I want to practice during the colder months!

I think the Country Club of Syracuse has indoor simulators for members, but I’m not sure about public access. Might be worth a call to check!

Definitely will give them a call! It’s essential to keep practicing, especially before tournaments.

Also, don’t underestimate the smaller courses. They can be charming with great service! Just check out the amenities before you book.

That’s so true! Sometimes the underdogs have the best hidden gems. What’s one smaller course you would recommend?

I’m also looking for the best golf courses around Syracuse! Accessibility and pricing info would be super helpful. Anyone have suggestions?

Check out the Links at Erie Village! It’s public and the green fees are reasonable, around $35 on weekdays. Mornings are the best time to avoid crowds!

I’ve heard good things about Drumlins. They have both public and private options. Membership can be pricey, but green fees are around $55 for non-members. Definitely worth checking out!

I usually go to the Greystone Golf Club, which is pretty accessible. They recommend teeing off early to get the best conditions. The membership fees are high, but green fees are about $45.

Don’t forget about the Onondaga Golf Club! It’s private, so membership is required, but it’s a hidden gem. They have occasional public days too. Prices vary based on the season, but the experience is top-notch.

Drumlins is awesome! I go there often. Just a heads up, peak times can be busy, best to book ahead!
