Looking for the Best Vegas Public Golf Courses

I’m planning a trip to Las Vegas soon and I’m hoping to hit some golf courses while I’m there. I’ve heard a lot about the golf scene in Vegas, but I’m not sure which public courses are worth checking out.

What I’m Looking For:

  • High-quality courses
  • Affordable options
  • Beautiful scenery
  • Good amenities (clubhouses, dining, etc.)

If anyone has recommendations or experiences at specific courses, I’d really appreciate your insight! Also, if there are any courses known for great deals or special offers, I’d like to hear about those too.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If you’re looking for great public courses in Vegas, I highly recommend Angel Park. The views are stunning and they have two fantastic 18-hole courses. A must-play for any golfer!

Angel Park is definitely a top choice! I also enjoyed the TPC Las Vegas for its challenge and condition. Just beautiful out there!

I had a blast at Cascata last year, but it’s semi-private. For public options, don’t miss Legacy Golf Club. Their amenities are solid, and the staff is super friendly!

I’ve heard great things about Legacy! Are there any specific amenities you loved there?

Cascata is fantastic but pricey. I think it’s worth it for the experience, but many prefer the affordability at places like Desert Pines Golf Club. The ambiance there is quite welcoming.

Champions is another good one! They have a nice restaurant on-site for a post-game meal. I enjoy that after a round of golf! Plus, good practice facilities.

Totally agree! Plus, have you guys tried the Martin’s who run it? They’re so fun to chat with!

If you’re there in summer, look out for the special twilight rates! They can save you some bucks while still playing a great course.

You’re not kidding! I enjoyed just soaking in the atmosphere there. But are there any hidden gems you guys recommend?

I loved playing at Desert Willow! It’s got beautiful landscaping and is very well maintained. The staff was super attentive too!

Never heard of Desert Willow! Sounds like a winner. Were the greens fast?

Greens were quick but fair. If you can handle the heat, it’s worth a trip! Just don’t forget the sunscreen!

Haha, I learned that the hard way! Seriously though, a good hat is essential at these courses.

I’ve played at a few public courses in Vegas, and I highly recommend checking out the Royal Links Golf Club. It’s a unique experience! Early morning tee times usually have the best rates.

Totally agree! Early bird deals can save a ton. Plus, many courses offer discounts in the afternoon. Look for twilight rates!

Definitely try to book your tee times online ahead of time. Many places have exclusive online discounts. Don’t forget to check golfnow.com for good deals!

Good idea! I always look for group deals, too. Sometimes courses have specials for four players.

If you’re visiting during the summer, the heat can be unbearable, but you can find some great discounts in those slower months. Just hydrate a lot!

I’ve found some courses allow you to walk for a much lower rate. That can really save some cash! Just bring good shoes.
