Maxfli Tour vs Tour S: Which One's Right for You?

But has anyone found the Tour S to be sufficient for recreational play? The lower price is tempting for occasional golfers.

Great point, @claytondale. If you’re not playing competitive rounds, the Tour S could be a solid choice without spending too much.

The pricing is crucial, but I’m also looking at durability. Anyone have thoughts on how these balls hold up over time?

I’ve had the Maxfli Tour for a while and it’s held up well, even after several rounds. Decent bang for your buck for sure.

Sounds promising! I’m leaning towards the Maxfli Tour for that reason.

Keep in mind, price doesn’t always equate to performance improvement. @brandon25, did you notice any significant difference when switching?

I felt more control with the Maxfli Tour. It wasn’t a night-and-day difference, but enough to justify the cost for me.

That’s interesting! I wonder if anyone else felt that way or if it was just an individual experience.

You can’t go wrong with either, but the Maxfli Tour is just so reliable. Makes me feel like a pro on the course!

Haha, @ubowen! I love that feeling! The right ball can really boost your confidence. Just curious, how do you decide which to use for a round?

Honestly, I just go with whatever I’m feeling that day! But on serious rounds, it’s usually the Maxfli Tour for me. How about you?

I tend to save the Maxfli Tour for tournaments. It’s worth the investment for key performances, but at practice, I stick to the Tour S.

That’s a smart approach, @tgraham. Using the more affordable one during practice is a great way to balance cost and performance.

I’ve been using the Maxfli Tour for about 6 months now, and I really love the feel. The spin is consistent, which helps my short game a lot. Would highly recommend it!

I switched from the Tour to the Tour S and noticed a significant difference in distance. The Tour S just fits my swing better.

I’m curious about the durability of both balls. Has anyone had durability issues with the Tour S?

I’ve played several rounds with the Tour S and they hold up really well. I’ve barely scuffed them!

I have to echo what asmith said about the spin on the Maxfli Tour. It really helped my approach shots, but how does it compare in windy conditions?

The Tour S has been great in the wind! I didn’t lose as many balls as I thought I would.

I enjoy the feedback I get from the Tour. It’s a mix of feel and performance that works for my game. Just wish they had more color options!
