Hi everyone! I’m planning a golf trip to Michigan and I’m looking for some advice on the best golf resort packages in the area. I’ve heard Michigan has some fantastic golf courses, but I’m not sure where to start when it comes to finding the right resort package that fits my needs.
My ideal package would include:
3-4 nights of accommodation at a golf resort
Unlimited golf on the resort’s courses
Potential for other amenities like spa services, dining, etc.
My budget is around $1,500-$2,000 per person for the trip. I’m hoping to find a package that provides good value and lets me experience some of Michigan’s top-rated golf courses. Any recommendations or insights would be greatly appreciated! I want to make the most of my time in Michigan and come back with some great memories (and hopefully improved golf skills).
Hey there! I recently visited the Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan and had an amazing time. The golf courses were in great condition, and the resort amenities like the spa and restaurants were top-notch. Definitely check them out for your upcoming trip!
I’ve played at the Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club in Arcadia, Michigan, and it was an absolute gem. The course has stunning views of Lake Michigan, and the conditions were impeccable. They offer some great stay-and-play packages that might be worth looking into.
Hmm, I haven’t heard of Arcadia Bluffs before. Thanks for the suggestion! Do you know if they have any all-inclusive packages that cover golf, lodging, and meals? That’s the kind of deal I’m hoping to find for my trip.
Hey, I can vouch for the Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs. They have multiple championship golf courses, fantastic amenities, and some really great stay-and-play packages. The only downside is that it can get a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it in my opinion.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely look into the Boyne Highlands packages. Do you happen to know if they offer any discounts or deals for booking early?
Ah, the age-old debate of quality vs. price. While Boyne Highlands sounds amazing, I’m more of a budget-conscious traveler. Anyone have any suggestions for more affordable Michigan golf resort packages?
Have you considered the Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire? They’ve got some really nice golf courses and more budget-friendly package options. The amenities may not be as fancy as Boyne Highlands, but the value for money is pretty solid.
Wow, Shanty Creek Resorts sounds like a great option for someone on a tighter budget. I’ll have to check out their website and see what kind of packages they offer. Thanks for the tip!
Am I the only one who’s a little bummed that the Treetops Resort doesn’t seem to have any all-inclusive packages? I was really hoping to find a one-stop-shop kinda deal, you know?
Hey, I feel you on that. It can be a bummer when you can’t find the perfect all-inclusive package. But maybe you could mix and match a little bit - find a resort with a great golf course, and then see if you can book the lodging and meals separately to get the best deal. Just a thought!
Great idea for a Michigan golf getaway! I’ve had some amazing experiences at the courses in Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. The Highlands and Wolverine courses are absolute must-plays.
For a Michigan golf trip, I’d also recommend checking out the courses in the Traverse City area. Crystal Mountain Resort and Treetops Resort both have fantastic golf options.
Anybody have experience with golf packages at the Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, MI? I’ve heard they have some really scenic and challenging courses.
I’ve played at Shanty Creek a few times and can vouch for the quality of the courses. The Schuss Mountain and Summit courses are particular standouts. Great package deals to be found as well.
Hmm, Arcadia Bluffs sounds intriguing. How is the rest of the Arcadia Bluffs resort in terms of accommodations and non-golf amenities? Looking to make it a full golf getaway.
From what I’ve heard, the Arcadia Bluffs resort has really nice lodging options and great dining/spa facilities to complement the world-class golf. Definitely a top choice for a comprehensive Michigan golf vacation.
