What are the best golf courses in Coeur d'Alene?

I’m planning a golfing trip to Coeur d’Alene and I’m curious about the best golf courses in the area. I’ve heard a lot about:

  • The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course: Famous for its floating green, I’ve read that it’s a must-play!
  • Circling Raven Golf Course: I’ve seen some great reviews about this course, but I’m wondering how it compares to others in the region.

If anyone has played these courses or has suggestions for others, I’d love to hear about your experiences! What makes these courses stand out? Are there any particular challenges to be aware of or tips you can share? Looking forward to your recommendations!

Thanks in advance!

I recently played at Coeur d’Alene Golf Course, and it was fantastic! The views of the lake were stunning, and the greens were in perfect condition. Definitely a must-play!

I’ve heard great things about the Circling Raven Golf Club, too! It’s won multiple awards and is supposed to be a challenging course. Has anyone played there?

I agree! The natural beauty at Coeur d’Alene is breathtaking. Have you tried the floating green? It’s such a unique experience! Not every course has that.

Yes, Circling Raven was amazing! The layout is very strategic, and the wildlife all around makes for a great atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

I really enjoy the Twin Lakes Village Golf Club. It’s less crowded, and you get a more laid-back vibe there. Perfect for relaxing while playing a round!

Totally! Sometimes you want a chill round instead of the pressure of a packed course. Definitely worth checking out!

In addition to all these, I’ve seen beginners love the Ponderosa Springs Golf Course for its forgiving layout. Anyone else had a good experience there?

Exactly! I took my friend there to teach her how to play, and she loved it! It’s a great place for newcomers to feel comfortable.

You can’t go wrong with the famous Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course though. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience is worth it, especially for special occasions!

True, but is it really such a memorable experience? I’ve heard mixed reviews about the service there. What’s your take?

The service was hit or miss for us, but the course layout and scenery overshadowed that. I think if you focus on the golf experience, you’ll enjoy it!

I wonder which course is best for hosting tournaments? I heard that some of them have great facilities for that kind of event.

Circling Raven apparently has excellent facilities for tournaments! I think they frequently host events, so that’s a solid choice.

I just wish there were more affordable options! Sometimes it feels elitist with all the high-end courses; can we not have some budget-friendly places too?

The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course is definitely a standout! The amenities are top-notch, with a stunning clubhouse and excellent dining options overlooking the lake.

I completely agree! The views are breathtaking, and the service is always friendly and attentive.

Don’t forget about the Circling Raven Golf Club! They have a spacious practice area and the clubhouse feels very welcoming.

Circling Raven is great! Their dining options are also fantastic, especially if you enjoy local cuisine after a round.
