What Are the Best Golf Courses in Puerto Rico?

That sounds amazing! Which resorts would you recommend?

You might want to look into Palmanova Plaza Resort. I’ve heard they have a fantastic stay-and-play option that includes a round at their top course.

Honestly, I think some of the smaller courses, like the Coamo Springs Golf Club, offer great deals too! Sometimes the hidden gems are the best.

True! But I’m still skeptical about why they’d be cheaper. Any thoughts?

They could be less known or just smaller operations. Sometimes they might not have as much marketing which keeps prices down.

Whatever you choose, don’t forget to have some fun out there! Golfing in Puerto Rico is not just about the course but also the views!

I’m so glad you asked! One of the top golf courses in Puerto Rico is the Dorado Beach Resort. The views are incredible, and the layout is challenging but fun!

Absolutely! Don’t forget about the championship courses at Palmas Del Mar too. It’s a perfect spot for golfers of all levels!

I’ve also heard good things about the Bahia Beach course. Has anyone played there? What’s the condition like?

Bahia Beach is fantastic! Just be prepared for some humidity. A good tip is to hydrate and dress in light, breathable fabrics.

While we’re discussing golf etiquette, it’s good to know that in Puerto Rico, maintaining pace of play is highly valued. Try to be ready to hit when it’s your turn!

That’s a great point! Also, be mindful of noise on the course. Keeping it down really makes the game enjoyable for everyone.

Weather can be tricky too! I’ve found that early morning rounds are ideal to avoid the rain and heat. Is anyone else doing morning tee times?

I always go for the morning slots! The sun can be brutal later in the day. Plus, you get to enjoy those stunning sunrises on the course.

What about golf gear? Any recommendations on clubs that work well in the humidity?

I recommend using grips with good moisture control. Brands like Lamkin or Golf Pride offer options that perform well in humid conditions.

Great suggestion! Also, don’t forget a good rain gear! It rains more often than you’d expect in PR.

Has anyone played at the Coco Beach Golf Club? I’ve heard mixed reviews and would love some insights!
