I’m looking for some fun golf games that we can play with our group of five. It can be tough to find games that accommodate an odd number of players without it getting awkward or unfair. I’ve heard of a few like Wolf, Stableford, and Skins, but I’m not entirely sure how they work or if they’re enjoyable for everyone involved.
Here’s what I’m hoping to find:
Rules and explanations: How do these games work? Are there any specific variations for five players?
Engagement tips: How can we keep it competitive and engaging for everyone?
Recommendations: Are there any other games or formats you’ve tried that work particularly well in a five-player setting?
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions and experiences!
I recommend checking out ‘Golf With Your Friends’. It’s super fun and supports up to 12 players, so 5 is a breeze! The mini-golf courses are creative and make for a great time with friends.
While ‘PGA Tour 2K21’ is awesome, I feel it’s a bit technical for my friends who just want to have fun. Anyone else feel this way? How’s the learning curve?
I’ve had a blast playing ‘Wii Sports Golf’! It’s easy to learn and perfect for a group, plus you can really get silly with the controls. Anyone else played it recently?
I prefer ‘The Golf Club’ for its realistic approach. The graphics are amazing, and the courses feel true to life. Has anyone tried creating custom courses?
When playing golf with five players, a great option is to set up a modified team format, such as 2 vs. 3. This could create an interesting dynamic! Everyone will have a chance to contribute.
Don’t overlook the possibility of stroke play! Each player competes individually, but you can score as a team based on the total strokes. It can lead to some competitive fun!
Another format to consider is a scramble! Everyone hits a shot, and you choose the best one to play from. It encourages collaboration and can make even novice players feel involved!
