What Do You Think About Tommy Armour 845 Max Irons?

Hey fellow golf enthusiasts!

I’ve been eyeing the Tommy Armour 845 Max Irons for a while now and I’m really curious about what others think of them. I’ve read a few reviews, but I want to dive deeper into their performance and hear from actual users.

Here are some specific things I’m interested in:

  • Performance: How do these clubs perform on the course? Are they forgiving for high handicappers like me?
  • Feel & Trajectory: What’s the feedback on how they feel during play and the type of trajectory they provide?
  • Specifications: Are there any standout specs that make them worth considering?
  • Value for Money: With their budget-friendly pricing, do you feel they deliver good quality?

I’d really appreciate any insights, personal experiences, or tips regarding these irons. Pictures of your shots or rounds would also be fantastic to see, if you have any! Looking forward to your feedback!

Thanks in advance!

I’ve been using the Tommy Armour 845 Max irons for a few months now, and I’m impressed with their distance. The ball really flies off the face, and I’ve noticed an average increase of 10 yards per club!

That sounds great! I’ve found that the accuracy is quite solid as well, especially on approach shots. They seem to hold their line well.

I have mixed feelings. While the distance is impressive, I’ve struggled a bit with them in windy conditions. Sometimes accuracy can go out the window when it’s breezy.

That’s interesting, Jeremy. I found them quite stable in moderate winds. Maybe it’s about the swing mechanics?

I’ve been playing them for a little while, and honestly, the overall feel is what stands out to me. They have a nice balance and are quite forgiving, which helps my game tremendously.

Agreed, garrett48. Even as a mid-handicapper, I’ve found it easier to get good strikes with these irons compared to my previous set. They’re quite user-friendly.

I play them as a beginner, and they really boost my confidence. I hit straighter shots and feel like I’m improving every time I play. Highly recommended!

Sounds like a solid choice, hhampton! I’m curious—does anyone use these on tougher courses? How do they perform out there?

I took them to a difficult course last week, and they handled the challenge well. I was surprised at how well they performed from thick rough!

That’s reassuring, Rachel! I’ve been hesitant to bring them to tougher courses, but that gives me some confidence to try.

I find it funny how we all rave about these irons, yet I still shank my fair share! Maybe it’s me and not the clubs?

Haha, brendakim, I feel you! I’ve had a few rogue shots too. But hey, practice makes perfect, right?

Overall, I’m reflecting on my journey with these clubs. They’ve definitely improved my game, but I wonder if there’s a better fit out there for even more advanced players.

Totally agree! The aesthetics are sleek and modern. I’ve noticed that they not only look great but also inspire confidence at address.

I appreciate the design elements, especially the larger sweet spot. As a beginner, this has made a noticeable difference in my game!

It definitely helps to boost your confidence. Plus, the technology behind these clubs really takes the guesswork out of shots.

One thing I found interesting is the blend of tradition in the design with modern technology. It gives the irons a unique character while still being high-performing.
