I’m looking for recommendations on the best pizza places in Rockland County, NY. Whether it’s classic New York-style slices, deep-dish, or something unique, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
A Few Things I’m Interested In:
Quality of Ingredients: What makes the pizza stand out?
Variety on the Menu: Do they offer different styles or toppings?
Atmosphere: Is it a nice place to dine in or just good for takeout?
Price Range: What can I expect to pay?
I’ve been hearing bits and pieces, but I’d really appreciate your feedback or any personal favorites you have. Is there a hidden gem that I’m missing out on? Let’s get the pizza conversation rolling!
I have to say, if you’re in Rockland County, you can’t miss out on Luzzo’s. Their Margherita pizza is just perfect! The sauce has this incredible sweetness, and their crust is just the right amount of chewy.
If you’re looking for something a bit different, check out Mariella’s in Nyack. Their pesto pizza is out of this world! Plus, the atmosphere there is really cozy.
I’d definitely recommend adding some grilled chicken or spinach to the pesto pizza. It adds a nice depth of flavor. Also, don’t miss their garlic knots; they’re divine!
I’ve personally never been a fan of buffalo chicken pizza, but I may give Rockland Pizza a shot based on these reviews. Anyone else have thoughts on their classic pepperoni?
I think Tony’s is fantastic, but it really depends on what you’re looking for. Their quick service is great for takeout, but I find their pizza to be slightly greasy for my taste.
True! Pizza is such a subjective thing. Personal preference plays a huge role. Just remember, every pizza is a personal pizza if you believe hard enough!
For something different, have you guys tried the Neapolitan-style pizza at Pizza Master in Nyack? The dough is incredible, and I recommend the margherita topping for its simplicity!
Has anyone tried Sicilian pizza at Nino’s in Haverstraw? Their thick, square slices are perfect for sharing, especially with extra cheese and olives. Worth a try!
I’m a little torn about pizza styles. Sometimes I want that classic New York slice, but other times, I crave a good Sicilian. Anyone else feel that way? It’s pizza mood swings!
